Local time is IST + 6.5 hours. The weather in Fiji varies considerably between island regions. Normally Fiji's climate is tropical. Overall, temperatures between November and April (summer) are slightly higher than the winter months, as is the humidity and the resulting tropical downpours. Light cotton clothes are advisable at all times - only between May and October (winter) will a light sweater be needed for nights and early mornings.

All Indian citizens entering Fiji a must possess valid passport. The passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of entry into Fiji. Visas are issued on arrival at the immigration desk at Fiji International Airport to all having valid travel documents.
